Installation
Install SimpleBLE for Unity and reference its API.
Use Unity 6.3 LTS or 6.6. See Platform notes for target settings.
Install the package
After purchasing SimpleBLE for Unity, open Window > Package Management > Package Manager, select My Assets, and find SimpleBLE for Unity. Choose Download, then Import, and import all of its files.
The plugin is installed under Assets/SimpleBLE. Its managed and native libraries
are included, and the offline guide is in Assets/SimpleBLE/Documentation.
For a supplied .unitypackage file, choose Assets > Import Package > Custom
Package and select the file. Use one installation of SimpleBLE in a project;
remove a previous UPM installation before importing the Store package.
Android projects need Unity's Android JNI built-in module. It is included in standard projects; if you removed it, enable it in Package Manager under Built-in before building for Android.
Reference the API
Scripts use the plugin namespace:
using SimpleBLE;If your scripts use an assembly definition, add SimpleBLE.Managed to its Assembly
Definition References.
Call await Bluetooth.InitializeAsync() on Unity's main thread before accessing
adapters. This requests Android permissions when needed. Then follow Usage
to scan for a device.
